Meet the team

Meet our friendly staff

Hi, my name is Jayne,

I manage Furniture4U and have been her from the beginning when the shop opened in 2015.

Prior to coming to Bolton Council I had worked for several different local authorities doing a wide range of things mainly within the revenue and benefit sector.

I am very passionate about helping people and thoroughly enjoy my current role, it gives me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of customers and other organisations.

I believe that the way Bolton Council has set up Furniture4U for the people of Bolton is a fantastic opportunity for them to acquire the goods they need at affordable prices.

I am proud to be a part of it and would love other authorities across the country follow this model and help to put an end to high interest stores.

Come in and see me and I will do whatever I can to help.

Hi my Name is Kevin.

I have been working for Bolton Council for 4 years. I primarily work in the council’s Money Advice team as a money advisor but I also spend time in Furniture4u where my money advice knowledge is transferrable to assist people with furniture options.

Hi, my name is Ian,

I’m a sales assistant at Furniture4U, I’ve been working here since mid 2018.

My role is currently split between Furniture4U and Bolton Council’s Money Skills Team. Prior to my role at Furniture4U I volunteered for Citizens Advice and a homeless charity in Wigan.

I have always been committed to helping people get a fair deal in life and I find I can do this at Furniture4U.
